About

Our Mission

At Inso Bio, our mission is to enable the next era of genomics. An era of increased accessibility and broader impact, and one where going from sample to answer is as easy as the push of a button.

Our Vision

Democratizing biology and genomics requires uniquely innovative tools that can bring low-cost workflow automation to every lab. We envision a future of faster turnarounds performed on smaller machines helping clinicians and scientists realize the full potential of genomics right at their fingertips.

We couldn’t be more excited
to be on this mission together.

Our Story

Located in Ithaca, New York, Inso Bio was founded based on technologies invented and developed from Professor Emeritus Harold Craighead’s group at Cornell University. Our founding team of PhD scientists have worked together closely to integrate our backgrounds in engineering, cellular biology, applied physics, and micro- & nano-science. Together, we are united by our dream to enable greater accessibility to the coming genomic revolution, and by our passion for building great products.
